The Logistics department is responsible for ensuring that deliveries to the tournament can be carried out in an orderly, timely and conflict-free manner. First and foremost, truck transports outside the hall must be received and directed to the correct entrances and the correct contact persons on the part of the tournament organization must also be contacted. During the tournament week, the logistics team is primarily responsible for parking and control functions at the entrances to St. Jakobshalle.

You are at least 20 years old and enjoy working in a team and outdoors. You are flexible, solution-oriented, able to work under pressure and have a quick grasp of things. In this job, you need to be able to assert yourself well against others and always remain friendly and helpful. Working in logistics gives you an insight into the structure of a major event. At the same time, the role has a down-to-earth feel and requires a sense of organization and systematics.

The assignment begins 1 week before the start of the tournament and ends on the Tuesday after the final; it therefore lasts between 7 and 16 days. We work in shifts of 8 to 10 hours with replacements for meal breaks. The workload during the tournament week is reduced for some employees, as there are fewer deliveries during the tournament and more parking duties. Work is done exclusively outdoors in the area around the St. Jakobshalle; appropriate clothing is provided.

You represent Swiss Indoors Basel in an outfit provided and are an active part of a large team for the benefit of Switzerland's biggest sporting event. Many exciting encounters and glimpses behind the scenes are guaranteed. You will receive a tournament badge that will allow you to attend the matches during your free time or breaks. Food and drinks will also be available to you free of charge. You will receive a helper's wage for your work.
