The department of construction/infrastructure is responsible for ensuring that St. Jakobshalle, and therefore Swiss Indoor Basel, shines, thus ensuring successful matchplay on the one hand and the comfort of the spectators on the other. Helpers in the construction/infrastructure department can expect exciting and varied tasks during both construction and disassembly, from furnishing seats with pillows to the renovation of VIP boxes and other various small tasks.
You are at least 16 years old, able to work in a team, motivated, persistent and can lend a hand.
You will be available for a total of four shifts (around three and a half hours each evening) in the week before the tournament, on the Sunday of the final and on the Monday after the final matches. You can choose three of your four shifts yourself. One assignment on the Sunday of the final is mandatory for all helpers. There are no fixed times for you to be present during the tournament. If you are interested, you will receive further information after you have registered.
You are an active part of a large team and contribute to the successful organization of Switzerland's biggest sporting event. Many exciting encounters and exclusive insights behind the scenes are guaranteed. During your time as a helper, you will be provided with food and drinks free of charge. You will receive a helper's allowance and a Swiss Indoors gift. You will also have access to the public area during the entire tournament week.
