What are the responsibilities of ball boys and ball girls?
As a ball kid, you can experience the world-class players and their tennis up close! The ball kids get, manage and distribute the match balls and help the players on the courts..
What is required of me?
As a ball kid you should be aged 11 to 16 (born between 2008 and 2013), athletic and no taller than 1.70 m at the selection in June. The ability to concentrate, quick comprehension, agility and skill, enjoyment of tennis, reliability and a good spirit of camaraderie are the characteristics of a great ball kid!
When and for how long will I be on duty?
A compulsory selection day (in June) and training day (in October) are prerequisites for participation for all selected children. During the tournament (19 -27 October 2024) ready for action on all days. Presence time of approx. 6 hours and total time on the course approx. 3 hours per day.
